Website Maintenance

A true story…

I recently was surfing the Internet and came across an interesting web site. While clicking through the site I was brought up short when I came to the calendar of events page dated 2005!

I do admit that this is one of my pet peeves! Once you have your site up, you must remember that it is a image of your business that is available for the world, 24/7. So, how do you think your prospective customer would feel coming across clearly out dated information? What image does that portray of your organization?

WordPress Websites

You may have heard about Word Press, which is a very user friendly blog and website publishing tool. One of the main features of Word Press is that it is very easy for anyone to maintain and update. I am doing more and more of new client sites in Word Press. This allows my clients to easily and quickly make content changes themselves, yet they may still retain me to do ongoing site backups, maintenance and updates.
